Comments: I have found that the wood pellet style litter is much better at controlling urine smells than the paper or clay style (and it doesn't have a "litter smell" like most of the other brands. Smells fresh. 1 Bag lasts 1 cat a month with daily sifting out of poo and when liquid contacts the wood pellets they go to a sawdust and can be sifted if you have a sifting tray) it also doesn't track far.

Comments: After using Oz-Pet Litter for roughly 4 years I decided to give this stuff a try as it's a little cheaper than the Oz-Pet wooden pallets... I use the Oz-Pet litter box. Catmate wooden pallets absorbs the urine faster and I found the pallets would fluff out much, much quicker throughout the whole box! Which my cat doesn't like... There would be so much broken down litter at the end of the day, that shaking the box wasn't an option, and there'd be litter mountains(from fluffing) where he'd used it. It also didn't mask the smell very well. Oz-Pet pallets lets urine go to the bottom of the tray and be absorbed by the pallets in there and wouldn't make the litter on top break down and cause so much litter wastage. It drys much quicker, and also doesn't smell as much. I currently have half Catmate, half Oz-Pet in the box as I'm switching back to Oz-Pet and basically all the Catmate litter is broken down while the Oz-Pet has remained intact. I would have to definitely recommend Oz-Pet over this brand.

Comments: We we recommended this product for our 4 cats. Which means 4 litter trays. The laundry does not smell and the cats love this litter. I out performs all the others. Once sifted out the solids go in the bin and the left overs can go in the compost. We love it.

Comments: Fantastic product - I was given a small bag of this to try with our new kitten and so far it is the best product I’ve tried. Minimal odour, and the sifting tray is excellent, makes cleaning really easy. Am now changing to this brand. The only thing I would like to add to the tray is a cover - we have dogs as well and find a cover stops them nosing around in the litter trays.
