Comments: Used to be about 11Kg for a 30L bag and had very good absorption for the volume. Recent batch now weighs between 8-9Kg resulting in a significant reduction in its adsorption capability...the result is you now need to use about 20% more to achieve the same result. Contacting the manufacturer did not provide any reason as to the change.
Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend
Comments: My cats won't use the clumping, clay, bead etc kitty litter. I swear by breeders choice kitty litter for cats, guinea pig, and bunny. I rescued a tomcat and it took months before I could put him in crate to take to the vet to spay etc. I found there was no urine odour at all, well, once he started utilising the litter tray. I also find the pellets don't get traipsed as far from the litter tray as do the smaller clay, bead etc varieties. I do find it slightly more work to clean up the urine. The other brands tend to clump for easy cleaning , whereas the pellets don't clump. I use a fire place shovel for scooping.
